Bring Climate Quilt Into Your Classroom

A flexible ecoartistry program that turns climate anxiety into climate agency ~ for any subject, any grade, any school, anywhere in the world.

What Is Climate Quilt?

Climate Quilt is a global youth art initiative inviting young people ages 10–30 to respond to the climate crisis through creativity. Inspired by the AIDS Memorial Quilt, student submissions from schools and communities worldwide are woven together into a living digital gallery and global network of youth climate organizations and ways to take action ~ and curated into a traveling museum exhibition.

Two themes. Two roads ahead:

HERE & NOW ~ Art depicting the natural world as it is today, the status quo
THE FUTURE ~ Paint the beautiful tomorrow, when nature wins

Any medium works: drawing, painting, digital art, collage, photography, textile, mixed media, or repurposed or upcycled materials.

Your students have something to say about climate.

Give them a canvas.
